Live Interview with Space Time Band
August 15, 2005

Q: Who
came up with the name Space Time Band and what does it mean?
A: Er, it's just SpaceTime. Long story long, we had all decided upon
another name for ourselves with the initials S.T. in it. Our first singer
didn't much like the name, but we had a logo made by a great artist, Sean
Nolan, and we loved it. We decided to stick with the initials just to keep
that logo. After some brainstorming, SpaceTime just kinda came out.
Q: How long have you guys (current line up) been jammin together?
A: Current lineup has only been a short while. Kenny moved from guitar to
vocals of course and we recruited Mark to fill the guitar spot. Mark's just
been with us a few months, but it's like he's been with us for a while now.
Great chemistry
Q: I caught you guys a couple of times back in The Underworld days, how have
things changed for ya'll since then?
A: I can definitely say we're all better musicians. Also, our songs have
taken on a much heavier edge and we've really begun to define a sound that
we can call our own. Not only that, back then, we played about 50% covers
and 50% originals. We're pretty much all original now with just a cover
thrown in once in a while to keep everyone on their toes
Q: How would you describe your music?
A: Have to let someone else answer this.....er, heavy metal with a dash of
progressive, a sprinkle of doom, and a pinch of power
Q: Who are some of your influences?
A: Dream Theater, Symphony X, Nevermore, Fates Warning, Rush, Metallica
Q: Are you guys currently doing any recording or have you done any recording
and how can the fans get your cd's?
A: Currently recording full cd now...should be done soon
Q: Have you guys had any opportunities to open up for any national acts?
A: No, but we're chomping at the bit for the opportunity
Q: If you guys could work with any one in the music business, writing or
recording or just jammin with who would it be and why?
A: Personally, I think Kevin Shirley or Andy Sneap. Two top notch
producers. Either one could give us a wealth of insight and push us to the
next level
Q: What do you guys currently have in your cd players?
A: This Godless Endeavor and Enemies of Reality-Nevermore, Octavarium- Dream
Theater
Q: What's your next gig?
A: The Wills Point Biker Party with Element X. Willis Point, TX. that's SE
of Dallas out toward Tyler.
