This area will be nothing more than my observations of
the stuff we put our fellow mankind through everyday. Exploring into what
is Humanity? Of course ALL of it should be in CAPS but then you would
think I'm yelling when I AM! OF COURSE YOU MIGHT SEE A LOT OF CAPS
HERE!!!
Of course the views of the author in no way represent the opinions
of the webmaster, site owner, or the author. Since I live in the U.S.A.
most of these are gonna be about this fine country I live in!
PRAY FOR AMERICA!
RANT THREE
I must say that I blame the state of business in America on Bill Clinton! Where CEO's, CFO's, officers, and board of directors all get away with fraud! For eight plus years he has got away with lying, cheating, and more. So it's only natural the rest of America (rich corporate-heads) would lie, cheat, and steal just like our former Commander and Chief! Damn Bill it's all your fault!!!
RANT TOO
U.S. Corporate Radio - This is
what it is like in the U.S.A. Since I can remember (early 70's) the radio
only plays what they are told. They only play one track off a new album
until they are told to play another. They then call it 'a new one' off
their new album which is now 6 months old. This is how it was and still
is. I began listening to Metal (Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Saxon,
Scorpions) in the early 80's (1980). Albums like "High'N'Dry",
"Iron Maiden", "Killers", "Wheels Of Steel",
"Lovedrive". Non of this music got radio airplay. Some say
I heard "Switch625/Bringing on the Heartache" on the radio. Yea
but that was years later after a remix and re-release! Not knocking it
because HEAVY METAL did have it's 15 minutes of fame '87-'91. I love all
the music that came out and was over-exposed during that period. Guns N
Roses was awesome but Axle you idiot. Z-Rock where did you go and
why? Since '92 we (Americans) have had "Alternative"
radio. They still play Nirvana. I loved Nirvana once before Radio
over-exposed them. Kurt wrote some awesome stuff. Their have been
some great Alternative Bands like Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Alice In
Chains. I personally never cared for Purple Jam or Smashing Pimples.
Creed and Staind are OK. But why can't we (American's) have some Iced
Earth, Primal Fear, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Saxon, ASKA, Manowar, I could go on
and on, mixed in. These are all bands that have been around and have lots
of songs that could be over-exposed. Why can't the suits who program American
radio see the gold mine ready to be Cashed-In on!
Ft. Worth/Dallas got a new radio station recently 93.3 FM the Bone. They
play some great music but I have to say that I have heard almost all of it
before there isn't anything new. I'm not asking for you to stop playing
anything but to add some great bands (Iced Earth, Primal Fear, Helloween, Gamma
Ray, Saxon, ASKA, Manowar and more). I personally don't listen to radio
because of the lack of more music. Radio doesn't need funny DJ's or who
think they're funny. Are they stoned? I have discovered more bands
through the internet because the radio doesn't play them. Bands that came
out in the '90's but radio never gave them a spin. It is a New Millennium
and it is time for radio to give the people what they want! MORE!
Play more Heavy Metal Rock N Roll and you will be rich! I believe KISS has
already proved this. What more could you want than all these bands with
multiple albums with great songs on everyone. Under-exposed, So most of
America won't even have heard of them. Most of these bands have put out
new albums that are their best albums to date.
To answer the first
rant...yes I guess we do.
